Se ha diseñado para sustituir una cadena o el peso de una cuerda de amarre (Kellet). En caso de anclaje con alcance limitado (zona de anclaje ocupada o limitada), Ultra Marine Anchor Ring aumenta la seguridad al añadir peso al sistema de anclaje. Al añadir peso adicional a la cadena, Ultra Marine Anchor Ring reduce el área de balanceo de la embarcación y funciona como amortiguador, mejorando la comodidad a la hora de anclar mediante la reducción del movimiento del barco.

Ultra Marine Anchor Ring es además una importante herramienta de levado. Es especialmente importante en condiciones en las que no es posible meterse en el agua o es preferible no hacerlo (por ejemplo, aguas muy frías, mar en malas condiciones o presencia de reptiles peligrosos). En circunstancias en las que, por desgracia, el ancla se quede trabada en el fondo, con ayuda del Ultra Marine Anchor Ring podrá realizar el proceso de levado.

A small bay with lots of boats meant a short scope 93 ft of chain in low 38 feet for us the last boat in.
