The most advanced anchor swivel.

Well known swivel, a small part in complete anchoring system, but big factor in success of the whole anchor roll up process. Our unique design assures your boat´s no damage, safe anchor´s operation and easy recovering on the bow roller. No matter the brand or type of anchor you use, you may absolutely trust our Ultra Flip Swivel design, delivering you smooth operation instantly with expected results.

As every Ultra Marine´s Product – it was designed with passion, experience and utmost care to every detail, with highest demands on materials used. No matter our products, you will find now or later, the Ultra Flip Swivel is a great start and relatively small investment - with such effect on something you have had spent much more.

New coding explanation:

uma-banner-2The Flip Swivel incorporates unique design features.

The Ultra Marine Flip Swivel is uniquely fabricated and connects the anchor and chain without the need for of additional shackles. Fabricated from 316 stainless steel and hand polished for stunning presentation on the bow, the Ultra Marine Flip Swivel is uniquely strong and slimline, and does not require lock pins or safety wires. The breaking strength of a swivel is typically higher than the connected chain and allows 30° rotation with complete 360° swivel.

The Ultra Marine Flip Swivel is fabricated with a unique fl ipping nub that assists the anchor in getting itself right-way up onto the bow roller. Combined with the rotation and 360° ability, setting and recovering your anchor is now easier and safer. Hexagonal head locking bolts prevent the need for additional grub screws to secure the swivel pins.

One Piece Body: Fabricated (not cast) one piece body ensures maximum strength. It is suitable to be used with most anchor types.

One Piece Head: Fabricated (not cast) one piece swivel head (which includes the semi spherical ball) ensures maximum strength.

Semi Spherical Ball: Self cleaning and allows 360 degree swivel.

Hexagonal Head Bolts: Ensures locking bolt cannot release unintentionally.

TELFON* O-Ring: Our internal TEFLON O-Ring stops metal friction occurring when under load providing low resistance and smooth operation.

Flip Nub: If the anchor is recovered up-side down the flip nub will assist the anchor to correctly right itself onto the roller.

Rounded Corners: Avoid potential damage to contacted surfaces.

Throat Opening: The opening is specially suited to the chain size.

Specifications: The swivel chain size and breaking strength is recorded on the rear side of the swivel.

Warranty: All ULTRA Swivels are supplied with a standard three year warranty.

ULTRA ANCHOR
“Buying the ultra anchor again while going through the options list of my boat was the easiest one. We love the anchor and it has been giving my family and me a great peace of mind every time we anchor. I used to dive to check if my anchor was correctly set. No more with the Ultra!”

Hei venner og kjente med båt!

Det er krise i båtindustrien, underleverandører er i ferd med å gå konk.
Har derfor blitt oppfordret av en av mine til å prøve å hjelpe til med å
skaffe kunder på utradisjonelt vis. (Mail under). Derfor prøver jeg her:

Som dere sikkert/kanskje vet så kjøpte jeg nytt anker til Cheetah ifjor
etter at min Rocna Vulcan 33kg SS brakk i to (!) på Zakhyntos. I all hast…

In 5,000 nM of cruising aboard our 40 foot sailboat from Houston to Grenada over the last 1 1/2 years, I’ve used my 60lb Ultra in all kinds of anchoring situations and bottom surfaces as well as 360 degreeswings. I’ve been through many 40-50kts squalls at anchor. My Ultra has never ever dragged. I sleep very well knowing the Ultra has proven itself. Now I just have to worry about the other…

Dear Giovanni,

I m sorry for the delay ... been busy and when have a moment to rest is always something to fix..😊

I m Goncalo Lemos, Captain for 15years now, with experience on 25 -30 meter yachts, and a long experience on anchor as well.

When first saw Ultramarine anchor on a boat show in Palma, I immediately notice the high quality and finishing as well the details of the anchor! Made a…

Nice and give the market what it wants, but I adore my Shinny Ultra Anchor, and receive many compliments about it. The mud ofthe Saint Johns river slides right off when recovering it unlike my oldgalvanized plow, and the Ultra Anchor sets the first time every time, and has held fast in some serious thunderstorms in both mud and sand.

I do need a replacement for the shock absorber on the bridle,…

Dear Jan,

the new ULTRA anchor is installed and looks great and proud on the bow of our MOTIVA 39 – MOYA – as you can seen in the attached photos.

I am glad to report that it fits perfectly. In the meantime I have seen two other ULTRA anchors on boat nearby…Am I continuing a trend??

We look forward to our first outing next week to test it live, and am confident it will be much better than…

Ciao Giovanni,
come stai?
After the first four weeks (Ionian, Greece), I can tell you that I've been very happy with the anchor so far.
Before that, I had a Rocna, same weight, which partly didn't dig deep enough due to the bow. In smooth sand, this causes the anchor to slip; In the case of sea grass, the anchor collects the grass in front of the bow. Attached is a photo at 10m water depth, sand,…

Dear Erkutay,

We have now tried it out in mud, sand and coarse sand and it has worked extremely well every time.

With our last anchor we could not get it to set in sand - our biggest test - even with scopes of 10:1. The Ultra has set firmly and quickly every time with scopes of 3:1.

The anchor also self launches every time whereas we often had to give our last one a kick to get it moving.

We hit the road to the city Beaufort NC. However, the weather turned to the rain like cataclysm when we were about the reach the Beaufort. The wind was at least 20-30 knot.
We hardly found our way to the crowded anchoring area. In the evening we met with Staublar again and after diner we went back to our boat before it was too late. Fortunately, we came back early because, a dragging boat at…

Nick Creed, Gunfleet Marine

I keep on relaying my experience with Gunfleet 58/04 (anchored with an ultra anchor) where in 45-50 knots of wind another 40ft boat dragged its anchor which rode up our chain and became jammed in our stem-head. For the next 2 hours there were TWO boat anchored in big and nasty swinging winds, on just ONE Ultra Anchor - if ever I had any doubts that the Ultra was just a beautiful looking peace of…

Dear Peter,

I attach a few images as promised.

Our first night at anchor with lines to shore proved very windy and rather bumpy at times... and this episode alone justified buying the Ultra Anchor!
Experiences of similar side winds with our previous anchor required us to reset the anchor again and again or move to another location entirely.
I snorkled out the next morning and checked for any…

Hi.
We bought our 60 pound Ultra anchor after the Seattle Boat Show this last spring. We have a 42' Nova Sundeck trawler-style motoryacht and are from Alameda, CA. We are just now heading back south from a trip up the coast from San Francisco Bay, through the San Juans, further up through the Canadian Gulf Islands, on up into Princess Louisa Inlet, then on to Desolation Sound, and just recently…

Hi,

I have a 1975 Pearson 35 (13,000 lbs empty). I’ve had the boat for many years and she’s in fantastic condition. We live and sail on Lake Champlain in Vermont. The lake is about 120 miles long which generates 4 - 6’ swells and 20kts + winds pretty often. We’ve always had problems with our 35lbs CQR anchor holding. Most nights are sleepless if the wind is above 15kts. Really I don’t sleep…

Hi,

I wanted to endorse your anchor. I anchored in 12 feet of water at Rippers in Catalina a couple of weekends ago. I was able to see your anchor work first hand. I also saw my neighbors anchors with the flukesand they were all marginally secured to the bottom.
I wanted to let you know how much nicer it is to anchor with your anchor knowing you’re secure and there’s little chance of…

"Finally I have arrived in Gibraltar. Up to now, 90% of the places I have stopped I had the anchor in. Everywhere and every seabed the anchor hold tight at first attempt. Now I rarely dive to check the anchor and it…

A quick update on our 16kg Ultra anchor. We are with 9 other boats are headed to The Broughton Archipelago. Two nights ago we anchored with the others in a small bay inside Port Neville. Buonasera,

Hello,

We love our shiny Ultra-60 lbs! In fact we just matched it with a SS chain and new gypsy. Instead of the castles created by the old galvanized chain, the new "jewelry" just melts into the chain locker, as my husband observed, "like when Scrooge McDuck was pouring coins into his vault". A little pricy, double what a new galv chain would be and a lot less than back surgery. And no more…
